The new homeowners purchased this 1950’s daylight basement knowing it was in need of a major remodel; it not only needed a new look, but more importantly, was not wheelchair friendly. The need for wider halls and doors, usable cabinetry, and an accessible master bathroom meant that this home had to be remodeled before they could move in. This remodel gave them not only what they needed, but also aesthetically all they dreamed of.
